JOURNEY OF SWOODCRAFTS
Our journey started in a six square meter room with one product and a vision. Now, we are a team of over ten artisans and designers dedicated to authenticity and excellence, creating a collection of over thirdy unique, inspiring crafts.
We now operate from the Forghani Wood Factory, founded over 80 years ago by the grandfather of our brand’s founder. This historic space is more than a workshop, it is a creative home where generational expertise meets modern craftsmanship.
Where did it all begin?
I, Saman Forghani, after completing my studies and working in the field of civil engineering having carried out several personal construction projects found myself facing a housing market recession.
During the free time I had, I decided to try making a phone case using my favorite material. I’ve always had a passion for technical work and using tools, and my years of hands on experience in technical projects had given me valuable skills that made the task much easier for me. Although my initial attempts didn’t yield great results, I quickly succeeded in crafting a wooden phone case that received positive feedback from most of my friends and acquaintances, eventually leading to orders and sales.
